Admission Requirements
Academic Qualification
-
A good Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or comparable institution, or an equivalent professional qualification in Human Resources Management;
OR -
A postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management from a recognised institution;
AND -
Applicants should have work experience in a supervisory, managerial or professional role for preferably a minimum of five years.

Applicants with other post-secondary qualifications (e.g. diploma in HRM) and at least 10 years of work experience, including 3 years in professional and managerial capacity, will also be considered on an individual and exceptional basis.
Language Proficiency Requirement
Applicants graduated from an institution where the medium of instruction is not English must achieve the following English proficiency requirement:

TOEFL iBT: Overall score not lower than 79; or

IELTS (Academic): Overall band score not lower than 6.5

Application Period, Methods and Process
We welcome local and non-local applicants. A non-local applicant is defined as a person requires a student visa/entry permit issued by the HKSAR Immigration Department in order to study in Hong Kong. If you hold a valid HK work permit, you do not require a student visa to take this part-time programme.
Application Period
* All student visa applicants are advised to submit your study application ahead of the deadline as it normally takes six weeks to process a visa.

Application Methods

Complete the online application form.

Consider choosing one academic referee and one professional referee. The academic referee should be able to comment on your academic ability and preferably have direct experience of your academic work. The professional referee can be your current or previous employer who should be able to assess your professional abilities.

Check the accuracy of your referee’s email addresses as reference request emails are sent to your referees once you submit your application. Referees are contacted by the Graduate School via email with detailed instructions on how to submit an online reference form.

Upload all the supporting documents together with the Application Form to the Graduate School Website and pay the non-refundable application fee.

Application Process
Preliminary Review
Your application is NOT considered complete until the Graduate School Office receives all the required documents. Completed applications are reviewed by the admission committee, and short-listed candidates are invited for an interview via teleconferencing.
Selection Interview
Applications operate on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview via teleconferencing during the application period or until all places are filled. Each candidate will be interviewed by 2 faculty members.
Tuition Payment
Accepted applicants must pay the non-refundable first instalment of the tuition fees to confirm their place.
Orientation Day
Once the registration process has been completed, you are invited to an orientation before the programme commences.
