A good Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or comparable institution, or an equivalent professional qualification in Human Resources Management; OR
A postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management from a recognised institution;
Applicants should have work experience in a supervisory, managerial or professional role for preferably a minimum of five years.
Applicants with other post-secondary qualifications (e.g. diploma in HRM) and at least 10 years of work experience, including 3 years in professional and managerial capacity, will also be considered on an individual and exceptional basis.
Language Proficiency Requirement
Applicants graduated from an institution where the medium of instruction is not English must achieve the following English proficiency requirement:
TOEFL iBT: Overall score not lower than 79; or
IELTS (Academic): Overall band score not lower than 6.5
Application Period, Methods and Process
We welcome local and non-local applicants. A non-local applicant is defined as a person requires a student visa/entry permit issued by the HRSAR Immigration Department in order to study in Hong Kong. If you hold a valid HK work permit, you do not require a student visa to take this part-time programme.
Your application is NOT considered complete until the Graduate School Office receives all the required documents. Completed applications are reviewed by the admission committee, and short-listed candidates are invited for interview.
Applications operate on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview during the application period or until all places are filled. Each candidate will be interviewed by 2 faculty members.
Accepted applicants must pay the non-refundable first instalment of the tuition fees to confirm their place.
Once the registration process has been completed, you are invited to an orientation before the programme commences.
